Man and Development Journal

Man & Development (ISSN 0258-0438) is dedicated to critically examining and analysing the complex processes of India's political, social, economic, and cultural transformation. Given that India represents one of the world's oldest living civilizations, the journal also explores the continuing relevance of its historical and cultural heritage to contemporary concerns, while situating India's development trajectory within the broader dynamics of a rapidly changing global order.

The journal attracts contributions from a diverse range of scholars, thinkers, entrepreneurs, administrators, policy planners, and decision-makers, and welcomes original research articles addressing various dimensions of transformation at both the micro and macro level.

Man & Development is published every quarter, in March, June, September, and December. Approximately 400 copies are distributed to libraries, academic institutions, and organisations across India and abroad, with 15 copies regularly exchanged with other reputed journals.
